In order for our Virtual Humans to hear your instructions you must allow Google Chrome to use your microphone.
When you log in to the portal for the first time, you should be prompted to give Google Chrome access to your microphone. Please ensure you click “Allow” when this happens.
If Google Chrome does not prompt you to provide microphone access or you selected the “Block” option initially, you can easily allow access manually.
First, select the padlock icon to the left of the website address, portal.immersivehealth.io.
Next, select “Site Settings”.
Finally, under “Permissions”, find “Microphone” and select “Allow” from the drop down.
Close the settings tab then refresh the PPE Simulations page, and now you are ready to start!
Note that giving Google Chrome access to your microphone through either of these methods will only provide microphone access to PPE Simulations and not any other sites or applications.
